i've been watching your storm on tv - wow! you got slammed alright! we got snowed on too but not nearly as much as you guys... it's still plenty cold here though.

i've never done a cookie exchange before, but sure! i was planning to make cookies anyway, i'd be happy to send some off to you. 3nodding pm me with the details ok?
i'm still not much of a kate fan (sorry), she just got way too flip floppy for me. i'm still hoping juliet somehow made it through. lol, it's funny because at first i liked kate and hated juliet and over the last 2 seasons i did a complete 180 on that. maybe by the time the series ends i'll have switched back. wink

the christmas tree is a bonus item you get when you buy the holiday item bundle in the cash shop. the bundle has the little reindeer (bailey), 3 different pairs of slippers (cardinal, pengy and turtle doves), permafrost and cozy holiday tree. there's also a cardinal item out now that's a bonus from the cash cards too - holiday cardinal. wink
i am simultaneously excited and depressed about the final season of lost. i know it has to end but i've gotten attached to the characters - i just hope it all makes sense at the end.
i've never bought one of those turkey breasts before - i've seen them, but i never tried one. for a few years i just let people invite me to their place and took home some leftovers. then someone told me about the honeybaked ham company and i tried some and was hooked. it's so yummy! if there's one near you, you should try it. 3nodding

lol, the ham got to be kind of a tradition for us... my old place was a studio with a tiny kitchen (seriously - campers have bigger kitchens than that place did). i tried to do a turkey there once back when i first moved in but it didn't go very well. the oven was so little i had to wedge the bird in diagonally. you could only fit one thing in at a time so i had to wait for the turkey to be done and then i could put in the sweet potatoes and when they were done i could put in the rolls. by the time they came out the turkey was cold. and afterwards i couldn't fit the leftovers in my teeny fridge. fortunately there was a honey baked ham company near where i worked and i got a discount there through my job, so after that we just got the ham. it fit in the oven better and didn't need to cook for hours and hours and dinner got done sooner. since we have a full sized oven and fridge here, i think i'll do turkey next year though. i kinda miss it. wink

i just picked up our stuff today. we're going to have honey baked ham (from honey baked ham co. - i don't know if you guys have them there or not, they are soooo yummy!) with candied sweet potatoes, kings hawaiian bread rolls, cranberries and pumpkin pie. biggrin i think i might throw together some deviled eggs too just for the hell of it...i love those. 3nodding
i'm looking forward to the christmas event too. the stuff we got from halloween was ok - i love the zomg recipe items anyway...
other than that, i've started working on craft projects some more. i was looking around the other day and i realized i have all this craft stuff laying around - scrapbooking, cross stitch, beads, etc. - that i keep buying intending to make something and then i never get to it. or i get to it and then get distracted by something else, so i have all these projects in various stages of completion laying around. so i took out the calendar and assigned a different craft to each day of the week. every day i'll work for a little while on whatever craft is assigned to it. i'm hoping that maybe i'll actually get some of the stuff cleared out and at the same time create some stuff i can give for christmas. biggrin today i spent some time on a counted cross stitch project that never got finished - maybe now it finally will. wink
