I am at a loss. If you aren't new, why a random friend request?

It works better to get to know someone first, and see if you like the same things. I'm having trouble keeping up with the friends I already have, and that's common for people who have been on here for a while. That's why you sometime see messages on profiles thatt say 'no random friend requests.' You end up with a lot of names of people who you don't even know who they are, if you accept them. And to me, it means a lot to say someone is m friend, so I am not ready to agree with someone I haven't met. Like I said - a good way to start is to get the person's name and comment on their profile. Or, if you click on them in a flash space, try to at least say hi there so they see you. Then follow up on their profile if you got their name right. I know, sometimes you miss out because you missed a character in the name, but there will be other chances. If you are new, there's a guild I work with called NSTG, Newbies Support and Trainng Guild. It's a great place to meet people and ask how different things work on Gaia. I actually joined it after I was new, but when I wanted to learn some new things 9BBCoding and tekteking.)
