I think Zero's post (the link I sent you), would have been a good response to the thread, possibly.

Yeah. I really disliked how some of them were basically saying that we've lost an ally, or how could they support us when we're trying to tell you cishet isn't a slur. I don't know how it could be a slur. And just because we're telling you that straight pride FESTIVALS aren't really....good things to have, then?? Thanks for being an "ally". It's not about you, it never was. I'm not going to diss you because you're a cishet, but I demand that we share the same amount of respect. And even if you disagree with my opinion, you don't have to make me feel lesser than what I already feel like because of my dysphoria and s**t? It's not a hard concept to grasp, but I wouldn't ******** with those people to begin with, as they're fickle.

Did you know that Gaia declined the heterosexual flag people were arguing over? Do you know what they said about that? I DO. Part of me was tempted to show the screenshot earlier in the thread, but nah.

I think one of the main things they're confused about is that, you can have pride in being straight. A lot of us just don't think you need a parade for it or anything.
Has this actually been addressed because I really feel like people aren't grasping the whole picture.
Like it shouldn't be hard to understand if you're the majority that has society cater to you, because heteronormative/cisgendered people are normalized.
Anything other than that is seen as "queer" and that words means weird. And what are? We're considered weird because of our preferences and sexualities, blah blah blah blah.

I'm secretly hoping a mod will lock the thread or smth.
