NASA is hosting a naming contest for the new addition to the International Space Station. Let's take part in this historical event and name it Gaia!
The International Space Station’s Node 3 – a connecting module and its cupola – will have 7 windows to provide a panoramic view of our planet. Gaia would be a perfect name for the new module (the word Gaia originally refers to the Greek goddess of the planet Earth), and it's also a chance for us Gaians to let our voice be heard.

ok, my mom's birthday is March 17 - so, obviously, she has lots of green stuff. so, when she was turning 10, my grandmother decided to make a "green" velvet cake instead of red for her birthday party. Well, apparently, back then green food color was different than red - and, you know, you use quite a bit in a cake like that. So, it tasted fine, but the next day, she got a bunch of phone calls from concerned parents because their kids were peeing green! HAHA - and we still tease her.
so, I had a recent addition to the story - I was in kroger last week and, you know how they sometimes sell that "cake for 2" (2 slices in a pack) - I was walking by and I noticed "emerald isle cake" that looked like a green version of red velvet cake --- I went nowhere near because I really didn't want Anastasia to notice but I could not stop giggling so I had to call my mom and tell her about it -- too funny
