First Love
I never was struck before that hour
With love so sudden and so sweet.
Her face it bloomed like a sweetened flower
And stole my heart away complete.
My face turned pale, an unrelenting pale.
My legs refused to walk away,
And when she looked what could I convy
My life and all seemed turned to clay.
And then my blood rushed to my face
And took my eyesight entirely away.
The trees and bushes around the place
Seemed midnight at noonday.
I could not see a single thing,
Words from my mouth did start.
They spoke as chords do from the violin,
And blood burnt around my heart.
Are flowers the winter's choice
Is love's bed always snow
She seemed to hear my silent voice
Not love appeals to know.
I never saw so sweet a face
As that I stood before.
My heart has left its dwelling place
And can return no more.
What I wish we had,but what we will never get
Lying in a field of flowers,
& looking up at the cloud-filled sky,
being able to think about anything,
I only have you on my mind.
So much for thinking about anything.
the sculpture of your face will not escape my mind.
When my eyes close, I see your chocolate eyes.
When I reopen my eyes, I see your smile.
You just seem to always be there.
It seems our love is forbidden.
No one will agree of the feelings we share.
They judge us of our past,
and never for what we will be.
Its seems our love is just as tragic,
as when Shakespear wrote his plays.
You are my Juliet,
I am your Romeo.
Lets hope, the ending will change.
In the field, I have nothing but time,
time to think of this judging world.
They need to see us for what we are,
Not what we were.
I love the way you say this will workout,
Deep inside i know its not true, but I'll have that hope.
I'll allways have the hope for
what I wish we had, but we will never get.
