About

Things became unclear as Dan realized he was a made-up character.

He felt so strange, so unreal. Even the name Dan suggested that he was some near pointless character in the short writings of an author more concerned with an idea that characters entire existence.

His stomach clenched because he realized he was one of those characters. He tries to remember all the things he loved in life, all the fond memories, or even foul ones; but he remembers nothing, because his god never bothered to give him a past.

He's only an idea, summoned into existence every time these words are read. So with a little luck these words will be quickly forgotten so that Dan may rest without ever having to fulfill his purpose.
