Hey there! I'm Rosethourne, just call me Rose... or Bara-chan... (that name's a gift from my friend Koneko-chan. biggrin )Aaaanyway, I'm twenty, a junior in college, and I wish I was in the university choir. (I was in it freshman year, and I miss it!) Of course, I love listening to music too! A few of my (recently) favorite bands are Rise Against, Muse, Bullet For My Valentine, Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, and classic rock like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and Queen. I also like Death Cab for Cutie, Panic! at the Disco, Metallica, Coheed and Cambria, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Tenacious D, Gackt, L'arc~en~Ciel, Nightmare (the last three are Japanese bands), and... Handel and Beethoven? lol, yeah, I like classical music too! I've played it often enough to like listening to it, I guess!
I <3 anime and manga, and Shakespeare, (I know, sooo geeky... ) I speak Spanish (or at least I'm learning...), a little bit of Japanese, and this semester I'm starting French classes, too! Yeah, I'm just a liiiittle bit crazy....
I'm an amateur artist and writer, though I don't have any artwork posted online, and the only posted writing is on fanficion.net and is, obviously, fanfiction. I do write other things, but I don't really have a place to post them, and I don't like to display things unless they're finished, or I know I'm going to finish them. (I have a problem about starting a story, then getting bored and ignoring it for weeks or months at a time, or just dropping it altogether...) But still, if you feel like it, check out my stories! I used to be a lifeguard at the community fitness center, but I now work at an embroidery shop during summer and winter break, and used to be on the swim team back when I was in high school. Hooray!
I also just got done spending almost two months in Japan! I had tons of fun, but I'm glad to be home~
