Tampere! I was in Tampere!

Yeah I went to Moominworld but it wasn't that great, it was like a huge playground. Bring your own food because everything is expensive as s**t haha. There was a beach one could have a picnic at!
If you are a fan of the books you might be disappointed that Moominworld does not really follow them. For someone who hasn't read the books so much, maybe a better experience. I'm glad I went though, but I will probably not visit again. But I need to visit the museum with the miniature moomin house and all the moomin scenery again, that was great!
I also enjoyed visiting ... is it Atteneum? The museum with all the paintings. I didn't think I'd enjoy Tove's other artwork but actually I enjoyed it even more than the Moomin pictures. I spent hours looking at them. Then I got hungry and tired. I had no idea I could look at paintings for so long.

I do wish I had sent more postcards from the Moominworld though, they have special stamps. But I only had two addresses with me.

I'm just your common Tove Jansson-fan, so it was actually a Tove Jansson-trip, but I enjoyed the food and there was great stuff to buy second hand at low prices! And I love food and flea markets!
