I wouldn't publicly humiliate you. You have stated your opinion in a concise manner, and this I respect you for.



However, no, I am not verbalizing my distaste of Twilight because I am trying to gain anyone's recognition or to make myself out to be some sort of rebel fighting the machine. In truth, I'm aspiring writer and an avid reader myself and I abhore what passes as literature nowadays. I have tried numerous times to be more adult and to simply ignore that which offends me, but I seem to run across it more and more these days and as such it has begun to upset me beyond my normal capacity. I will most likely remove my signature statement in a few days' time, when this spell of resentment blows over.



And for the record, I am not a nazi. It is an unfortunate tag that I received some years ago on another forum after I repeatedly corrected the spelling of practically every post made by users. It has followed me and while it is not pleasing to be mistaken for a nazi, I will not deny that the name is part of my persona here and not something which I choose to discard.
