About

I stood by the river’s edge on a scarlet morning, the water shimmering like molten ruby under the dawn’s fiery glow. I cast my line slicing through the luminescent current as ripples spread like gentle whispers above the blissfully ignorant fish, their silver scales igniting an amber hue in the sun’s rays. A large one tugged at my bait, the cool water splashing lightly against the bank as I reeled it in, the serene hum of the river filling my ears. My red eyes gleamed with a mix of contempt and satisfaction. I always found peace in the water’s embrace, it provides everything I need.

Suddenly, a mysterious figure emerged from the shadows, cloaked in mystery. I planted my rod’s handle firmly into the ground, keeping my catch airborne. I called out, “Are you lost? Friend?” My voice was steady, my Sharingan glowing like embers with unshakable confidence. The figure’s hands flickered into a hand sign, and I sensed the trap—a planned ambush! A bounty hunter, perhaps? As a seasoned shinobi with 720 completed missions and an S-rank classification I trusted my instincts.

The battle was swift. Channelling my rare Scorch release chakra, I summoned a dozen fiery clones, their forms dancing around the enemy like vengeful spirits. The heat was unrelenting, vaporizing the foe by mere proximity—my signature technique. Clearly, they hadn’t done their research. As the dust settled, I turned to pack my gear, only to find ash-like stains where my rod and fish had been, stencilled shadows etched into the earth. My stomach groaned as I began my route back to Konohagakure, the weight of my hunger mixing with the thrill of victory.

Upon returning, I shared my tale with my sensei, the revered Izumi Uchiha. “You couldn’t leave any identifiable traces this time?” she scolded, her tone sharp yet tinged with concern. “Guess I’ll have to find a new spot,” I sighed nervously, realizing I’d let my power run wild again. Her wisdom, honed by her bond with Itachi Uchiha, always kept me grounded.

Later that night, while patrolling the village perimeter, my path was blocked by an ANBU black-ops figure. Recognizing the silhouette, I nodded and called out, “Itachi, senpai!” His presence was a storm of quiet authority. “I heard about your encounter,” he said, his voice low. “If it’s alright with you, I’d like to see what you saw.” Hesitant, my brows furrowed—how could I add to what I’d told Izumi? But with a nod, I agreed, and in an instant, the world twisted. His renowned genjutsu engulfed me, pulling me back into the past. The river, the attack, the clones—it all replayed through his eyes, a testament to the Uchiha prodigy’s mastery. My heart raced as I relived the clash, now seeing it through his analytical gaze, a lesson etched into my soul by the clan’s greatest.
