I'm Denzell, but a lot of people just call me 'Aziz. That's Arabic for power. Since I use my poetry as a conduit for helping my people through their struggles instead using it as a commodity, I feel that I really do have a lot of power. I was born and currently live in Columbus, Georgia. I'm a bit of a misfit because I was born into a black christian community but I am a Rastafarian. The only consolation I have is that my father is a 5 percenter and helps me deal with the fact that religiously, in my own community, I am a minority. I enjoy poetry, hip-hop, philosophy, religion, and reading. I'm a black radical on the far-left side so a lot of people talk to me to see where my mind is.
