I saw you had posted a thread a while back about board game recommendations. Takenoko is a game with a panda eating bamboo in a garden (you need to expand the garden in certain ways and/or have the panda eat certain types of bamboo to score points) that is a nice light strategy game. Splendor is a game that everyone I've shown it to has picked up within their first or second game. I've yet to meet someone who dislikes the game. Both good games to add to your game shelf. :3
