Being a set doesn't make it a bad pick for a [i]cosplay[/i]. Discussing a original avatar is an entirely different story. Now, taking HOURS to design a cosplay doesn't determine who should win. It's who did well, and who was most accurately portrayed in the eyes of the majority.
You are CLEARLY not the eyes of the majority, which is fine, but there was no reason for you to be rude to someone who [i]already won[/i]. What does it get you? Gain, because perhaps you've lost in the past? Seriously, it just makes you look like a completely rude jerk.

So now it's "she's a cheap cosplayer" and you're a "amazing artist with a TOTALLY original cosplay because you did it first". Right.
She also had about four or five items in that avatar. I wouldn't buy that avatar because I don't want it nor do I need it. I enjoyed her cosplay but I don't enjoy the real character.
White knighting, a person (usually a male) who sees the typical maiden in distress, and believes that he can help her. A male version of the "mother figure" that some girls become.
I simple made a comment, I didn't try to protect her. I told her people like you don't matter if all you do is going to attack their cosplay and be rude about it. You could've made your point in a less flame filled way.

It's not called white-knighting, I am not protecting her in any way shape or form. So please, get your facts straight. I was offering her support and the fact I liked her avatar and to ignore ignorance from people who are hating because their avatars are just as simple. (maybe even overdone..)
