His eyes grew their inky black once again and the wind kicked up bitterly... All about him the shadows grew in form and from the trees came the same huge creatures that he now called his own. "Come... I have a job for you..."

The leader of the pack took a few strides towards him, bowing slightly. The creature began speaking in an old, jagged voice... "Yessss.... master. What is it that you wish for?"

"I wish for you to seek out this 'new presence' that Kaie is worried of... I know that you are capable of finding this... thing, but I don't want you to harm it. For that matter I don't even wish for your presence to be known. Find out who it is, and what they want... then report back to me."

"It shall be as you wish master... we shall inform you of our findings as soon as we have found this... being. Do you wish for protection until we return?"

"No, it won't be necessary, but if it will make this matter easier... Notify me if anything approaches us in the night. If I am disturbed for anything but those two reasons, you had better have a good reason. Now go!" he said in an ice hard voice. Then as he watched them disappear in the wind he turned once again in the direct Kaie had gone... and quickly ran to catch up with her, not wanting to make her worry.

Don't get it. Oh well.
