10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong

1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage would be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

cool Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

(one of the saddest parts about our society is that, these arguments, before the humorous common sense, are the real reasons why people can't accept gay marriages.

One: Nothing is truely natural. There is no such thing as a "Real American" That is a patriot ( Not judged ) it mainly Nationalism. The examples are rubbish.
Two: It will not encourage peopl to be gay, it will just relieve the people already gay. Thus, they will be happy to marry. And hanging around tall people does not make you tall, genetically proven already.
Three: Yes that is true but it will completly change it. It will only open a couple doors. Those doors leading to happiness amoung gays. The norms won't be bad in any way either. People wil just say, "You heard gays can get married right?" Nothing will turn of it. If it does, that is discrimination, and hate.
Four: You relly should research, gays have been around since the 600 BC's. COVOIUS was gay, VERGIL AND DANTE...so on and so forth. Black are already married to whites and has been since the 1780's.
Five: It would not be less meanigful because we gays can marry, equality is set to the shift. The day will go on as if the gays never got their rights of marraige, one will not over power the other. Brittany spears thing, no comment because never heard of it.
Six: This you state is hate and judious to others. The earth can only have so much but if teh people want children noone os stopping them.
Seven: This is absolutly incorrect, my uncle had a child and he grew up with straight supporters and third parties, yet he is gay. (I hang out with him [but never before I found out he was gay because I didn't know till I saw his mate]) There are more stories, research or even just ask around.
Eight: As said above. There is not "one" religion in the U.S, demographics prove it. The theocracy is never valid. Ask the government.
Nine: This is incorrect. I was raised for 3 months with a female role module yet I am gay. From there I raised myself. It was hard and my GPA is 3.5634 thank you.
Ten: Also said above briefly, people marrying thier pets have been around a while. We shade oursleves cause rumors and falsifications wont rumor. The opening of teh door will of most not creat suspensful augmentation of emotion. Just gays will be happy cause they can marry.
Braketed: Commen sense...oh my...did you know we did't event it, we made it. Therefore ther not being any, just judgments.
