    • Hi! Welcome to my little corner of Gaia. You can call me Tanabata, or Tana, or Wish....or anything. I'll answer to pretty much whatever. I'm 23 years old and I live in the middle of nowhere with my husband, our daughter, and a doberman named Journey.

      I love to write, and I've been taking it seriously for about 9 years now. By that, I just mean that I've actually been trying to write decent stories and actively improving my craft as opposed to just dribbling words on paper, which is what I was doing before razz Right now, I'm working on a dystopian YA trilogy about assassins. It's...a lot better than it sounds, I hope. I hate describing my stories in just a few sentences. It's impossible. And I'm in the planning stages of a webcomic that may or may not be started this winter sometime. We'll see. I do writing critiques for people sometimes so if you're looking for feedback, you can PM me about that. Just be prepared for the truth. I'm not one of those super-nice, sugar-coat-everything kind of people.

      I'm also an artist. You can find a gallery with some of my work here. I love doing art for people here on gaia, so if you are interested in commissioning me, just shoot me a PM and we can discuss it. I've been drawing ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil, and finally caved in a year and a half ago and bought a tablet so I could do digital art. Best decision I have ever made. It's given me a whole new sense of creativity and enjoyment in my art, which I seemed to have lost for a while there. I love it. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm enjoying the journey.

      *Watching movies (though I am a little picky when it comes to defining them as 'good')

      *Horrible books that everyone raves about like they're amazing (*cough* Twilight *cough)
      *Racist people (personal issue, long story)
      *Being told what to do
      *Rhubarb
      *People who think all big dogs are vicious killing machines
      *Cleaning my house

I made notes on the coding, but I decided to re-edit my book, which will take time to read again. Once I'm done, I'm hoping the coding will go over well. I (unrealistically) hope to be done with the editing this weekend lol. Don't think so...maybe I'll stay up late tonight if I can stay awake.

And then I went on a week-long vacation and just saw your PM. Anyway, I'm almost done now. I keep looking at the Media button, trying to figure out where to place it, and I almost wish... the Wishlist was the fast-forward button and the Comments was the reverse button and the play button could just go in between, where the "comments" link is right now.

I don't know, was there any place you intended it to go on this one?

Just letting you know. It took 3 or so days, but Rez finally got back to me on the code I sent him. It looks mostly correct, so hopefully he'll complete the trade soon. He's like us, getting on less frequently right now, so it's taking time communicating with him.
