Hmm... What can I say? I guess for starters, my name is Saito-Nichi, or just Saito or Sai for short. I'm 19, and in college. I love to hang out with friends, on Gaia and in real life. I also like to read when I'm not busy with school, and work, or just when I need to escape from it all.
My friends mean the world to me; I will fight tooth and nail for them, and give my life to protect them if it comes down to it. In short, and probably needless to say, I'd give anything and everything for them.
I don't like to see my friends saddened for any reason, and try to make them laugh 'cause I know that, even if just for a moment, they aren't thinking about the things causing them grief, and that makes me happy.
In a more general sense, I like video games, reading (as mentioned above), drawing (even though it has been a long time since I've drawn anything), listening to music and thunderstorms, and going to the beach or the pool whenever possible (which isn't often). I also like writing, as annoying as writers' block can be sometimes.
As far as personality goes, I tend to keep to myself, unless I get to know the people around me. I'm a very patient, and laid back person, who generally tries to avoid conflict unless people manage to find and push what little buttons I do have.
My biggest passion in life is helping people, and I'm trying to incorporate that into a career, my Major being Sociology, and my Minor in Psychology. With those degrees under my belt, I hope to pursue a job as a Social Worker, and work as closely with the foster care system as possible.
I do have a journal, although it's not exactly up to date as much as I would like it to be. The beginnings of a story are there, however they will more than likely not be continued. I am working on another story at the moment; I feel it has more potential to advance plot-wise. I may decide to post it there at a later time.

I am currently working on a story of sorts... I would appreciate constructive criticism. Please don't talk badly about it, because a lot of my own emotions went into creating this, mostly as a way to keep the thoughts in my mind under control.
