I live in a small town, where academics is one of the top things here. Unfortunately, that means the art program gets little to no funding, and theatre money all comes from out of the director's back pocket or...WHY AM I RANTING! *hits self on head to make self stop*
Well, disregarding long rant, academic priority is the reason I'm doing this summer project. And, it's going to count for at least a third of our grade as soon as school starts, so I need to get it done. I could've taken plain English 1, where there is no summer homework, but nooooooo, I had to go make things difficult for myself.
I'm convinced, and all my friends are convinced, that I'm secretly a sadist, because it looks like I'm trying to kill myself with my upcoming freshman courses. All honors, plus French, plus theatre, plus Speech and Debate. And then they also encourage you to do some sort of extracurricular, which means they get on your case if you don't do it.
I'm going to diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeee....it'll be fun as hell, though.......
That last statement just proved the sadist bit, didn't it?

I'm going into High School too, this is my summer project for English Honors. Well, part of it. The rest involves reports, book responses, and either a poster, powerpoint, or some sort of video. I've been wiggling back and forth for the visual aspect.
And I am currently working on getting something to wear. Finding stuff that looks good, and if I can, get it below 1,000 gold. I really should've held onto that 5k gold I won (by default...but oh well, gold for something I love doing, so woo!) for a longer time and not just spent it on the lowtoppies. But the shoes, they called to me...and now I sound like a lunatic. Yey.... XD

I had no clue weddings were so short here on Gaia! Then again, never went to one before...well, a wedding on Gaia, I mean. Been to two other weddings in RL. Those take much longer.
But hey, at least the food is good xd
But yea, I'll definitely be able to make it. The book's only like 335 pages, so about...3 1/2 hours, it should take me, give or take a little? I'll be able to make it, no sweat. Even though it's summer, I still am an early bird. I think I'm a freak of nature, I actually feel worse if I sleep late. I once slept almost 12 hours straight. I felt accomplished, because that was the longest time I'd ever slept in one sitting, but I felt blipping horrible at the same time too.
Wait, why am I even babbling on about this? Right, sorry, disappearing to go hide in a hole of shame now. >/////<

If I can manage to drag myself away from my summer homework, I'll try to be at the wedding tomorrow! (It all depends on how well this book I have to read turns out...if it's good I'll be able to finish it quick enough to get online whee )
