I'm getting started on book two of Explorations of Dreams and I would love if you could tell me what you think of this beginning piece?

Parysse turned, folding the linen across the bed and studied my face.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm not myself anymore...I can't remember myself," I said, putting unnecessary folds in my jacket, "I can't remember Fiorello Grosvenor before that day on the side of the road. I tell you, I'm going mad"
"You're not going mad. You've been through a lot"
"How can you tell me that?"
Parysse stopped folding the linens and I slid off the bed, checked my pocket watch and sighed.
"You don't mean to go do you?" Parysse asked.
"I have to"
"Have to?"
I nodded. I couldn't explain why. I coudn't even make eye contact with him. I only wanted to walk a bit. Somewhere. Anywhere.
"Well...goodbye then Fiorello. Promise me you'll come see me soon"
I forced a nod, and hurried out the office./quote]

Well, it's been fun, but "Explorations of Dreams" is finally finished!!! Even though in the end, our dear protaganist commits suicide (or at least tries to, hint hint hint) there is going to be a book 2!!!

i have serious writers block and i need a lot of time for thinking up the second book, so pleeeeease check out the update and give me your overall opinion on the first book!!

So, i know I haven't told you about any updates lately because I have decided to finish it all and THEN tell everyone about it. i have updated some though if you want to see but im trying to get it all done by this weekend.

Well, I haven't updated yet, I've been rather busy lately, but I promise you one by Saturday! (Eastern Standard Time)

Anyways (again) I cannot THANK you so much. You are perhaps the only person that has shown interest in my work (next to the other four people who commented and never spoke again...).
