I'd recommend a more chronological order so you can read his theories and thoughts as they evolved over the spanse of his writing life. So that would the Birth of a Tragedy, but my own personal recommendation is Thus Spoke Zarathustra.

His sister was a Nazi and promoted his works as Nazi material. But there's alot of evidence that he was opposed to racism and anti-Semitism.

He's a brilliant author and philosopher; but at the same time he was a bit crazy, but maybe that's what gave him that extra insight.
