I created this character to get some major X-men fanfiction out of my system since i never found good Gambit fiction I have started to create my own. i'll try to post each bit in my journal. Everything here is Catherine, and though I use her in other fictions she will always be Catherine Drake LeBeau the one who tamed the Cajun with her Celtic charm.Name: Catherine Drake

Hair color and style: Auburn, Curly often pulled up
Eye color: Hazel, occasionally turning a grey void
Complexion and skin tone: some freckles, slightly tan
Character's body build: curvy with a pound or two extra on her stomach
Character back story: Born and raised till the age of 13 in Dublin, Ireland by her drunken father and two brothers (Jacob & Wesley). Mother died at age of 2 by unknown causes. Mutation formed in defense, killing her father by pushing him off a cliff. Fled to England and lived in the underground til age 20. Met Leonardo (mutant), in his travels of aid to youth studies. Traveled with Leo til age of 22 and settled in Baton Rouge and opened an underground for mutant children. Ran into the Thief Guild and was saved by an ex-Thief Guild Member, Remy LeBeau and X-men Logan known as Wolverine.
Mutation: Shadow manipulation, astral protection
Identifying marks: Slash mark on her left ankle, xmen tattoo on her left hip. Picture on file.
Facial features: Soft feminine face, seeming cold and distant with men.
Hand features: Slightly worn from working the streets and training.
Scent: Earl Grey tea, or water lily
Mannerisms or gestures: Keeps to the typical European manners of conversation, and speaking terms around children. But curses and has a temper when men push her to far. Flexes her fingers a lot when upset or nervous, biting her lip when in consentration.
