So here I am, 20 years old, living in Okinawa, bored out of my mind. I don't know what it is about these forums that attracted me to them. I'm trying to think of the perfect formula for an introduction. Something that will stick to people's minds so that they think I'm not only fresh and witty, but not in the least bit simple.
Anyway, I mentioned that I live on Okinawa. Yeah, I do serve the US military. Maybe that's why I want in on this site. I mean, seriously, have you ever been to this rock? I work and live with the same people. You can hardly hold a decent conversation down with most of the people on base. Most of the women here are as shallow as a puddle, and I'm sick of trying to understand Japanese. Now more than ever, since I've been sentenced to 2 years here, I find a tiny bit of solace in this wonderful digital playground known as the internet. It's my only connection to civilized (or not so much) society.
