About Dib

Dib is the main antagonist through the series.

Dib is a school reject, most of the children finding him bizarre and paranoid. For example, when he accuses Zim of being an alien in the pilot, all the other children immediately rush to Zim's defense. Dib is very intelligent, and a whiz with computers. He is often able to match or even outsmart Zim, even with the enormous technological gap. His greatest fear is the Irkens conquering Earth, which is why he goes to great lengths to prevent any Irken besides Zim coming to Earth. In addition to the Irkens, Dib is an enormous lover of the paranormal. His life's aspiration is to become a paranormal investigator, and he is often investigating paranormal activity outside of Zim's actions. Dib is Gaz's brother and Professor Membrane's son. While Gaz dislikes Dib greatly for never shutting up about the paranormal, they are often seen together, showing she may like him more than she lets on. Professor Membrane believes his son is a very gifted young man, but his obsession with the paranormal instead of "real science" limits his future.
