imagine this...

you're standing on a beach somewhere, at night. there are no lights, no moon, no clouds, and the ocean is completely still without a single wave rolling on the sand. there's a gentle breeze, and behind you are endless miles of palm trees swooshing with that same breeze, but because it's so dark, you can only make a silhouette of them. the stars above are so bright that they project on the still waters like a mirror. it feels as if you could step out into the water and fall right into space. the scene is so serene, without a sound.

Hey Aristocrat. Sorry for taking so long to respond. I didn't notice I had comments. I've been studying for a month or so. I'm taking it slow because I'm working full time. If you are willing I would like to find conversational partners. I am really JUST NOW learning how to use verbs, rather I've been learning and memorizing about 13 of them in present tense affirmative and negative the past week or two. razz あなたは日本語を話しませんか。Google translate doesn't do this phrase justice.
