Growing up....your bestfriend becaomes your worst enemy, lollipops become cigarettes, the inncocent ones become sluts, homework goes in the trash, detention becames suspension, soda becomes vodka, undies turn into g-strings, kisses turn into sex.
Remember when getting high ment swinging on the playground? When protection ment wearing a helmet? When the worst thing you could get from boys was cooties? Your worst enemies were your siblings. Race issues were about who ran fastest. war was only a card game. the only drugs you knew was cough medicine. wearing a skirt didn't make you a slut. the only thing that hurt was skinned knees, and goodbyes only ment untill tomorrow? And think we all couldn't wait to grow up.
