Movies: Serenity, Kill Bill vol 1, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Snatch, Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, Hellboy 1 an 2. Plenty more depending on my mood...
Anime: lots of newer titles catching my eye...Shuffle, Shana, Lucky Star...but I always find Galaxy Express 999, Nadesico, Armitage III, and Blue Sub 6 on the list so I guess I like older stuff mostly. I watch a healthy amount of Shonen titles but watch more Shojo titles than a 24yr old male would care to admit XD
Books: Hitchhikers guide, Dirk Gently's holistic detective agency (also by Adams, but less known it would seem), Anything by Ray Bradbury or Issac Asimov, Most H.P. Lovecraft works, The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, I like reading Warhammer books once in a while but none stand out enough to mention specifically.
Manga titles; Yotsuba&, Trigun, Mao-chan, Dr. Slump
Comics; Anything with Adam Warren's art...Empowered is a great book btw and anyone who likes anime inspired art or cape-wearing buffoons should read ^^.
I read a pretty broad selection of mainstream and indie titles...I usually enjoy Deadpool and the recent adaptation of "The Wizard of Oz" by Marvel was amazingly well done. I read Booster Gold by DC because I like a hero that messes up, ALOT. Lastly, I am in the process of collecting the tick because I can't help but love the big blue oaf.
I listen to far more Jpop and techno than is healthy for the human eardrum...but every so often enjoy the Shins, the Beatles, Strawberry Alarmclock, Depeche Mode, and the Police.
