Gabriel shifted from foot to foot as the line began to shorten, eyeing the small baskets of food when the fair-goers walked by. The smell of the sweet fried goodness had him salivating, his free hand rummaging into his back pocket for his wallet. And yea, he could easily just snap his fingers and have 'instant sweet deliciousness' but then he'd miss out on all the rides--and Lucifer's obvious irritation seeping into the lines of his face. Which had always been a source of amusement for him, even back when he had been a fledgling. Driving Lucifer insane had always been Gabriel's number one cure-all for boredom.
And if he were honest, Gabriel had sorely missed their interactions. Their chaotic adventures.
"You'll love it." Gabriel smiled up at his brother. "And if you don't, I'll disown you." He nudged Lucifer in the side with the arm he still had wrapped around his brothers.
"You're such an a**." Gabriel wrapped his hand around his brothers bicep and tugged. Within milliseconds they were flying through the spaces in between, the sounds of ghost feathers ruffling behind them. When their feet finally hit the ground, Gabriel smiled and immediately shot off. Tugging his sullen brother behind him.
All around them roamed people. Most staring at all the food stands and others practically bee-lining for the rides in the distance. It was loud, and yea maybe it hadn't been such a good idea to bring Lucifer to such a populated area, but there was no way Gabriel was going to pass up all the delicious sweets that came along with festivals like this one.
Not to mention, he had yet to teach Lucifer to appreciate the genius that was deep-fried Oreo's.
