Hello all, I'm Melisande, just Melisande, I don't have any nicknames

I live in Australia and am, all in all, just not one for spending hours online everyday making my profile look pretty and what not.

I spend too much time talking I think and I'm in love with the most beautiful pet I've ever met (just slightly biased, I admit) Unfortunately that's not her in the picture on my profile. She's just a bit too shy to allow me to use any of hers on here.

I suppose I can prove to be an interesting person if you take the time to know me. I shan't bite, (that's saved for pet) so comment me if you will smile

I actually randomly came across the series when I by chance found the first book at a half-price book store. I kept it for a year before finally reading it. Fell in love with the story...especially when I could relate to one of the main characters, Faraday. But I grew older and the minor character Urbeth seemed to fit me more. XD

I am horrible at naming anything. It took me over a week to name my cat. Until I could decide, I called him "Little One" (he was a kitten at the time).

Perhaps this is a strange question, but did you get the Melisande of your username from a character from Kushiel's Dart?
