Are you able to login to the account using it's new username (and your password)?

Did you try to change the username or gender recently or was it truly spontaneous?
If it was spontaneous, I would file a hack report (another person might have access to your account).

I can't do anything to help you unless I can find a bug to fix. A Mod will have to look at your Hack Report and use their skills to find out if you are the "real owner" of that account.
