yeah, this is me.when i was five i was addicted to pokemon. did you ever play pokemon? i played pokemon. all of their games had the same overlaying concept though: defeat all of the gym leaders after capturing and training harmful pet monsters. then take them to defeat four champions and a mystery challenger to beat the game. i got so obssessed with trying to catch every possible pokemon in that game. i caught all 150 pokemon in the blue version plus the virus that was in the game. that virus was awesome. it gave me infinity rare candies so all my pokemon became level 100. i beat that game 7 times so i got bored of it and moved on to other ones. but when they make more and more of the same game, it's just a way to make money. like the yellow version, for example, is the exact same thing as the red and blue versions, but it allows pikachu to follow you at all times. i also watched the tv show. but it frustrated me because on the show the main character would not only get badges out of pity but he had two other people following him to help. he could also improvise when fighting, and pokemon could actually die rather than just "fainting". after they got tired of inventing new pokemon, the creators made gamecube games where you capture evil pokemon and try to make them good. i would rather stick with the evil ones. they are probably better, otherwise the game would not be much of a challenge.
ok, new topic. this time: the theory of relativity and other time-related things.
the theory of relativity states that time is relative to one's speed. because of this, there is no one standard time that everyone should abide by.
things i have thought of based upon this:
there can also be no standard constant of "now". the "present" is constantly changing into the past, the "future" is constantly becoming the present. the "present" therefore, is not a constant, because it is merely a fraction of a second that changes constantly. by the time my brain gets the idea to type the word present, by the time the impulse gets to my hands, by the time my hands perform that action, by the time your eyes scan this, by the time your brain receives the image from your retina and flips it, by the time your brain analyzes the image and figures out what it means, it is already the past. what we hear and what we see is the past, because it takes us so long to figure it out by the time the present has changed. the speed of light and the speed of sound cannot match the speed of the ever-changing present, therefore we mainly live in the past.
one can never attain the future. the future is defined as something that is ahead of us in time, so if we get it, it is already the past. the future is always ahead of us, and that can't change. as the past builds up perpetually, the future, as we portray it, is sucked through the present and into the past.
