Have you ever been on tektek.org? ~ http://www.tektek.org/dream/dream_canvas.php?
If you go there, you can look at the "outfits" and type "zelda" and you can get plenty of costume/cosplay ideas!
Some of them are actually really nice, too!
That's how I came across the Link ideas. And yes, I very much like this hat more than the green beanie night hat one.

I was thinking about trying Zelda next.
Seems harder though.
I never mix-match outfits. I have two set outfits. This one, and my "main" one..
I've been switching back and forth for a while, so I'm going to try and save up for my next outfit.

Yes, same with me. I hadn't been on gaia for a year or so before I just came back on just recently.
Ha, and why thank you! That makes me so happy c;
But yes, it took me about a month or so to scrape up the gold to do this!
I'm glad you appreciate it! Some people have actually discouraged it! Just because it's a female version.
