Shino is a very mysterious character of this anime. Because he's a member of the Aburame Clan, his special skill is that he has insects in his body that feed of his chakara. He then utilizes these insects for attacking and defending (or cheating, as he did on written portion of the Chunin test). Some of his abilities is Bug Host and Bug Clone. These bugs obey whatever he orders them to do. These bugs are really harmful because they eat chakra.

Everyone in Shino's family wears the sunglasses. Because of this, people think that there is something wrong with Shino's eyes. There is nothing wrong with Shino's eyes, though he might see like a bug.

In the Naruto manga, we are told that Shino (and his whole family) are, as babies, left to insects and become the insects home. Thats how the Aburame family get the bugs they control.

Also known as the "Bug Freak" by Kiba, Shino is one of the smart geniuses in the Ninja Academy. Wearing sunglasses at all times, Shino acts confident most of the time.

His clan has the ability to use insects in a type of symbiosis. Insects live in his body and feed off of the chakra within. In exchange, the insects helps Shino in tasks. Insects attack and defend for him. Shino's insects can even attack enemies from behind and ultimately doom them. They also spy for him in stealth missions.

Shino's group consist of Hinata Hyuga and Inuzuka Kiba. Kurenai Yuuhi is his sensei.
