Brook looked deeply into her own golden eyes through the mirror on her bedroom walls. She took a deep breath of the hairspray infested air. She examined her face one last time. Her un-even skin looked a bit more toned with all the make up, she brushed some blush on her already red cheeks. Her eyeliner smuged to create a smokey effect, sparkles framed them to give her a hole diferent look. She didn't need mascara, her eye lashes were alread curled, dark and thick. She smiled, her face wasn't perfect yet she still thought herself as beautiful. Her cheeks, even at the age of 15, were still not thined, her smile crooked with her slightly yellowed teeth from improper care. Yet she still managed to find herself a date to the school dance. She guessed he liked the small things like that she could keep a conversation going with as simple as two words. She tried to suround herself with kindness and kind people. She was smart, not nessaceraly books smart but street smart. She loved life, she was scared of death... but not in the way most people would think. She wanted to live life and see the earth grow. She wanted to see what the world would become. Though she always knew she would. Brook believed that a soul is reborn into a new body every life. Her focus went back to her thick face. That's when she saw it. Thats when she saw ... him. He stood there behind her like a ghost. His dark figure seemed too seep through the corner shadows of her bedroom corner. He steped out from a shadow holding a box. Brook sighed with relief as to see it was only her date, Skyler. He blue eyes glisend from the light of the lamp that he now stood in. Skyler smiled a big white smile. She looked off to the smide hideing her already hidden blush.
