The main reason I never got addicted I guess was because I never found one fun enough or devoted enough time to one where I had a lot to accomplish and met enough people I liked on one.
I have wanted to eventually find one I can really like.
Ugh I feel sick...

Err well I've played a few MMOs and Runescape just looked way too crappy for me. So it sort of confused me. Though I've actually never quite been addicted to an MMO, surprisingly.

You can dress up your pet on Neopets? o.o
Like are you referring to the different pet colors? You can change your pet to different colors too on Subeta. But you can also have a Human Avatar (which is like one of the main things people focus on for the site, including me).
Haha I never had an addiction to Runescape. My only current addictions are like Subeta and Missbimbo (Missbimbo is recent and also not exactly amazing...)

Oh really I see. It can be very easy to get addicted to.
Yeah Subeta is pretty much a copy. But I honestly am more fond of the avatars and wearable items there than here. These avatars are so small at times though cute still.

So you have Gaia, I used to be addicted to this site... like completely but then I found Subeta (so my addiction shifted).
How long have you been on here?
