Bruce didn't know what to say when Heather asked him to join her. Deep down he wanted to help, but his mind wasn't on 'the job'. He stayed silent for a moment before replying. Sure, lead the way.

Bruce wanted to say so many things, but then he thought about it and decided not to. Whatever happened in the past is the past, he was now focused on working for a better, much better, future and not only for him, but for every citizen of Gotham as well.

Bruce stayed silent for a while as he walked amongst the trees. He had a lot in his mind and it began the night before when Heather had appeared again in his life after almost 10 years of not knowing about her.

Bruce stopped right beside Heather and held her hands. But for some reason, I feel that we aren't as close anymore, if you know what I mean. And right now, I'm not sure that I can pursue a relationship..........I have a job to do and I don't want to jeopardize anyone's life more than what it already may be.
