Valansi Report | 05/17/2026 9:27 pm: Joann's was always my first choice, but now I'm down to Michael's and Hobby Lobby and Michael's is becoming really corporate and less crafty, so I tend to stick with Hobby Lobby. HL is also getting more stock of premade this and thats, though...
I wish I had small mom and pop scrapbook/craft shops close by, but any here are at least an hour+ away. xp

I really love how even for a pretty niche site, people have such individual experiences with what grabbed them and made them come back to Gaia again and again. 4laugh

"You mean there's a website where I can dress up my little anime character AND theres a plot and comic who's events are determined in part by the actions of the users of the site???" Obviously as a young teen I fell in love with it haha. It truely felt like a forum version of some crazy rpg.

I looked at your profile and it say's '08, so you weren't all that far behind in the scheme of things! But I guess Gaia was so big by then that the comics felt slightly less "personalized".

Some of the earlier stuff might be harder to catch up on, or seem kind of disjointed, since part of the plot updates actually happened in forums or guilds during events, but I hope you have a fun time reading it anyways! heart
