oh hey ^-^
that's pretty cool. Well, I just find it pretty easy to be vegan, because I never crave anything that's not vegan, or can't be made vegan. I was vegitarian for a year before I went vegan and I've been vegan for about 9 months so it's been a while, but I'm still kind of a newbie. But I totally know what you mean about family members and stuff. At first, when I even went vegiatarian, my grandma went all weird on me, and so did the rest of my family. It took them a while to get used to it, but I kind of just avoided talking about it. But if I did have too, I just had to make sure I had answers to all of their questions and stuff. They eventually got used to it. I can't tell you how many times I've been asked "Do you eat beans?", "How do you get protein?", "What started all of this?", "Didn't god make animals for meat?" >.< ugh. But when I decided to go vegan it got worse. My mom said that I had to wait until I was 18 to go vegan but I went vegan, and she just kind of took it. She's a nut about me getting enough of everything though. I think that the best way to go would be to think of a ligitimate answer to all of the questions like "What DO you eat?" and all of those things. I've learned that if you sound like you know what your talking about, people tend to take you more seriously. The more willing you are to talk about it, the more people will accept it. It takes time. I suggest seeing a natural doctor at total health and nutrition a couple times and getting supplements there (I did, and I feel way more awake and generally healthy) and then you could tell whoever is unhappy about it what your doing to get all of nutriants, because they would definately give you a lot of great advice on that. If you let them know you're taking care of yourself, it should be all good. Ha sorry for rambling on so long. Thanks for commenting. Tell me how it works out please (^_^)
