(this poem↓ won me an award, but i still think it sucks and it was one of my first big poems)
LOVE ISN'T TRUE LOVE
Love is just a word that means you like someone
It really means you just want their company
It doesn't mean you will stay with them forever
If you Love someone it never works out
If you think Love will last you are wrong
True Love is what last forever
True Love is how you are reborn
True Love means you wants to be with someone forever
True Love is very hard to find these days
If you tell someone you Love them remember this
Love never last but True Love last forever
THERE IS A FRIEND
Sitting all alone
The darkness is all around
No moon in the sky
No twinkle of light
You shed a tear
It runs down your cheek in the dark
Suddenly it starts to sparkle
You look up to see rays of light
Coming over the horizon ever so slowly
You turn around to see a friend
They sit by you with a smile
They wipe your tear away
You smile at them as the sun shines more
They give you a hug and every thing is better
They're the one that will always be there for you
(I wrote this↓ the day after my dog, Maggie, died (she was hit my a car) and i would rather have her then these rats we now have called pups)
MY DEAR FRIEND
My dear friend
Though you have passed on
You have left this mortal world
You are now a spirit
You have no limits now
You are our guide
You show us the way
You used to roam in captivity
Now you roam freely
You are with our other dear friends
Make sure to tell them we said hello
And always remember this
We Love You My Dear Friend
I SIT HERE
I sit here
All alone on this bench
With a candle as my light
As the darkness creeps around me
I sit here
Waiting for them
The one who said they'd come
To help comfort me
I sit here
I call for them
Tears run down my face
But no one is there
I sit here
Alone in the world
Nothing is left for me
No one is left for me
I sit here... alone
DO YOU UNDERSTAND
There is this pain
Deep inside me
Within my heat
It was stabbed with sorrow
The sorrow is from you
After you told me "I love you"
Then Just walked away
Only saying "Good bye"
Those two small words struck my heart
Cutting deeper and deeper
This pain is to much for me to bear
I think it is time that I go
So I'll say these few words
I hope you understand
"I never blamed you...
Never have, never will...
I love you no matter what..."
