The tears were real, the scars forever. My dear you love me, but how could I love someone untrustworthy. So now I say the tears are fake, the scars were make-up. My love was false; all I wanted was attention. I don’t deserve you; I deserve better; you deserve me; but you are under my standards; so you deserve lesser. I am higher than you, that love has gone sour, but not in my power. You were the knife in my back; now that you are gone the pain is subsiding. But who am I kidding I showed you the knife to use. You took advantage; I was not who I said I was. When no one is looking my tears are real, and the scars forever.
