At the time of updating this:
~ I'm 29 turning 30.
~ I'm a Starbucks barista at a Safeway.
~ My day consists of working, chores, maybe tanning and working out, thinking about food, and maybe doing something I enjoy.
~ Things I enjoy includes having video game ADHD, mindlessly watching YouTube videos and shorts, occasionally reading, and hanging out with my boyfriend and good friend when they have the time to. I used to draw and paint, but I gave it up when I realized I had precious little talent for it.
~ I like to try new things and explore new places. In 2023, moved across the US, so it's been scratching that itch for adventure as everything is new to me.

Like most people, I come with some damage, but I'm working on it. I know it takes time to recover from the aftermath when unfortunate things happen, but to anyone who might be reading this and going through something difficult of their own - I know many have said it before, but - keep pushing forward. Some days are better than others and some days might feel like everything's coming to an end, but keep moving. Take everything a day at a time. Keep a mental checklist of everything that that you have to anchor you when you're starting to worrying about everything you might be losing. Writing things down as honestly as you feel it might help you organize and lay out everything that's going on so that you can even begin trying to find a way to approach it and deal with it. As an added benefit, organizing yourself might help you talk to the people around you about it, too.
As the corny saying goes, "the only way out is through." In a cringy metaphor, we can't sit still and hope someone will pull us out of the storm and give us shelter until it's over because the rain never stops in the spot we're in now. Keep moving and sometimes you'll find people that'll walk with you through the storm and make the heavy rain not feel so painful.

Gotta go now. It was fun talking to you.
"Hey! What a wonderful day today!" or would you prefer "Hey! D.W.!" (Do you remember this cartoon? xD It used to come on when I was really little, but I remember it myself. smile I remember TCBY Ice Cream making a big deal out of it, so they had an ice cream themed after Arthur that had character shapes made of pop-rocks and it was my favorite. xD)
