About: The Player

"There is a Source saying that goes: 'all the world is a stage and we are merely the players.' that saying has had more meaning to us that any source in the Source World. Clockwork had once told me that every star is another world created by generations and generations of individual sources. It is believed the Source World is called 'Earth' because there are a great deal more worlds called Earth than any other name.
And then there's me. My Source is very peculiar to me. She created me, the player, and then destroyed her stage. The world I had once thought as my home. EliAvi. Yet, I feel like I had grown and developed before EliAvi was even thought of. Now I live in and travel through other worlds that my Source has not created..."

About: The Source

Every one of us has the ability to create a world. Every book, every movie, every TV show ever made however developed, creates a being far away from us. The more developed they are the more they live.
I am the creator of a sorceress who lives in and travels through other worlds like the ones Fantasy and Anime geeks like myself enjoy to experience. What ties her adventures together is the experiencing of love in all of it's forms. The love for friends, maternal love, paternal love, Even the evils of love that lead to jealousy, separation, and depression. Only when she finds her true love that will stand with her as she will with him, will her journey end and she will be able to spend the rest of her eternal life with him. The same goes for me...

Anyways, As you can tell I like magical things! I like to read and write and daydream. I'm also enamored with the theatre. It's such an ancient artform yet it morphs and changes as time passes just as humans do. There is just something so pure and fleeting about this form of entertainment, and I have witnessed my cast family grow more and more with each show.

I'm an optimistic idealist and glad about it. I acknowledge that life is not fair and happy but I also believe that we need to at least try to be fair and happy. I will do my best to brighten up any roleplay I enter.

My friends are the best in the world and I could never go a day without any of them! You know who you are, I love you guys!!!!! ^_^

Admit it...

Each one of us feels like doing this to at least one person a day.

Tactics episode 4 part 1

07 Ghost - Promise Collar

A little story for the faithful

One Nation, 'Under God.'

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a
Classroom. The teacher was going to explain
Evolution to the children. The teacher asked
A little boy: Tommy do you see the tree
Outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass
Outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see
If you can see the sky.

TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes
Later) Yes, I saw the sky.

TEACHER: Did you see God up there?

TOMMY: No.

TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see
God because he isn't there. Possibly he just
Doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the
Boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked
The boy: Tommy, do you see the tree
Outside?

TOMMY: Yes.

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass
Outside?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?

TOMMY: Yessssss!

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the
Teacher?

TOMMY: Yes

LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?

TOMMY: No

LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we
Were taught today in school, she possibly
May not even have one!

(You Go Girl!)

I hope so, that show was actually pretty cool. I remember back in elementary school, my friends would go to gym, and when a game of dodgeball would start, they would all yell "Gong E Teng Pai!" (or whatever they say before the Xiaolin Showdowns start.) Ah.... good times.

Warriors, right? rolleyes

I liked the series, and read a few of the books, but I think I just got a bit bored with it. I want to read this one book titled Leviathan. The author of uglies is making a trilogy about alternate history and a lethal airship war between European powers. I might just take up reading again. xd

Yeah, I get your point there. Personally, I love Chinese, and Norse mythology, with a desire to learn further on Korean and Filipo (my mother came from the Philippines, so it interests me. Shame it's a mass of ghetto and terrorism now. emo )

Yeah, I just like to refine myself as a person. I must be my greatest work of art. (I sound so vein, I mean more like self control, mindset, etc....)

Yeah, i suppose you could learn about other cultures by manga, just don't try and learn fighting tactics from it. xp

I love how people obsessed with Japan attain knowledge of it via manga, when post WWII manga and anime are so highly westernized. i just like the irony there.

Haha, thanks.

I don't know. Lately, I turn to pure books only for self improvement, or to actually teach me how to do things. If I want entertainment, I usually turn to manga. It just seems like sometimes novels take too long to pick up.

Huh. Well, I want to go to Minneapolis Institute/University/somefrigginword of Art and Design for illustration. Making manga that people would want to turn into games seems a lot more fun to me than mussing around with incoherent codes and stuff. As for novels, I don't pride myself too much in absorbing the written word since the Andromeda Strain, there's just no book that could ever beat that... yet. But good luck to you on figuring out how to write. I'd tell you to believe in yourself, but you never seemed to be in any lack of confidence for others and/or yourself. smile

Haha, I look forward to Valde dusting off his cloak and emerald headcone.

I think I'm doing relatively well. Working on a few ideas for games lately. I can't program or write code or anything, but my creativity suffices, plus someday I might actually meet somebody who can, and become like, a consultant or something. In the absolute least, I could make a comic. razz
