I'm that mysterious, quiet girl some people fear. I'm a loner, a thinker, a reader, and a dreamer. I'm nice and friendly when I want to be. I'm not ambitious. I get bored very quickly. You won't get anything. I'm sick of this. I'M NOT GENEROUS, at least not anymore. I have things I want to get, as you can see in my wish list. My wish list items aren't cheap and the prices aren't decreasing either. If you want gold, then EARN gold. If you want an item, work hard towards it. Begging does not equal earning. It is WAY TOO EASY to EARN GOLD on Gaia NOW compared to when I first started Gaia in 2004. I only donate to my friends, questers, and Charity threads as I see fit.
How I completed a quest back then:
*Note - I've had two quests that I've made public during my stay here on Gaia. They were my quest for Fuzzy Penguin Slippers (from October 20, 2006 to March 31, 2007) and the Joker Hat White-Black (completed on August 6, 2010). The Joker Hat White-Black was part of a joint quest thread. The Joker Hat White-Black quest was being quested in tickets, which was why it took longer as I don't often play the games on Gaia.*
1. I created a quest thread.
2. I bumped/chatted in my quest thread regularly and so did my friends. Other people who stopped by the thread bumped/chatted as well.
3. I sold some items that I had received from donating to Gaia. They used to be called "Donation Items" instead of "Monthly Collectibles" like they are called now.
4. I sold various items that someone else actually wanted, such as ink, common (store) items, and special event items.
5. Some people who visited the thread donated gold or items to me. One person was gracious enough to donate 80k, which was the biggest donation I've received and it also helped me to complete my quest.
6. I visited various Charity threads and asked for assistance while adhering to their rules. I did not go there to beg. I posted a request and stuck around the threads, chatting with other questers and participated in various contests. I had to prove that I was worthy of the donation. (After I finished my quest, I donated to the threads that donated to me to show my gratitude. Not all the Charity threads accepted my donation, but some of them did).
7. I bought items from the Marketplace and sold them for a higher price than what I bought them for. You know, Gambino's "buy low and sell high" philosophy/strategy.
8. I shook the trees, bushes, and rocks in Towns for gold.
How I complete a quest now:
1. Play Booty Grab for a few hours. I could get 100k in an hour.
2. Play zOMG! I either play solo or crew up. You get more gold when you join a crew.
3. Shake the trees, bushes, and rocks in Towns.
4. Sell items in the Marketplace
5. Buy Aquarium fish and put them in my tank, displaying the tank in my signature. Then post in the forums so that people will see my tank and grab from it when it's glowing.
