Yeah, the lighting is cool and I love the use of the wall upstage as a stage prop. I'm going to have to sit down one day and actually count how many props are in the show, especially since so many of them are also stage elements. IN fact, I think the only props that aren't stage elements as well are the gypsy's clothes that they have during their first song.

I like the Disney version, more for the songs than the actual plot. I'm not happy about how they changed the role Frollo holds, I like him as a priest more than as a judge. There are a couple songs on the Disney version that I really like, such as Out There and Hellfire. I don't like the deletion of some characters, the addition of others, and the combining of the poet and the leader of the gypsies.

I don't have the time or really good resources to really research the way I'd like. I have a plan for a plot I'm writing but I wasn't able to research the books I checked out when I had them so now I have to wait until I have the time to really look at them again.

And you're welcome. After you've seen it in French, you should definitely see it on Youtube for the English version.

Yeah I didn't know it either until my best friend rented it. Yeah the Frollo in the musical has more character to him than the Frollo from the Disney movie. I hate him in the Disney movie but I adore him in the play.

I"m a big fan of pirates also but unfortunately I haven't been able to research into them as much as I would like. I'd love to see the dances.

Yeah I'm a Theater major so I was happy to study the show in a way that I hadn't before. My second viewing of the entire show, (which this was) gave me a chance to look at the show without being all googily eyed at it.
