About Damaris
Note: Damaris is an RPC
Name: Damaris Kimura, DK
Age: 24
Mastered Techniques: ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu at a genin level; kenjutsu at an advanced level
Special Abilities: Kimura Clan Bloodline a bloodline trait that she has a long way to go before she masters it. It basically allows her to "use" twice as much chakra on a jutsu, while only actually using the normal amount. In her lack of mastery, however, she has no control over when it is used. The double chakra could come out at a really beneficial time, or it might come out at a really terrible time. It also might not be there at a crucial moment, until she masters the ability to control this technique.
Character Description: DK is about 5'7" with long white hair which is normally tied up out of the way. She's thin, and toned from her katana training. She has a tattoo of her clan symbol on her lower back. She tends to wear somewhat trendy clothes, occasionally having a hint of Asian style to them. And while they might not look easy to move in, she is able to train quite well in them. She's quite often seen with headphones on, either on her ears or just around her neck. Anytime she travels anywhere alone, she does so with the headphones on. Most of the time when she's wearing her headphones she isn't actually listening to anything.
Character's Background: DK grew up in Konoha Village, but she left the village 10 years ago when she was only 14. She had achieved the level of genin in the village and was training for the chuunin exam. One day while she was training with her best friend, the boy she'd developed a bit of a love interest in, they were sparring with straight ninjutsu. She went to perform a basic jutsu with a low enough force that it shouldn't have done much, if any, damage to the boy if he didn't dodge it. However, that was the day her bloodline trait would awaken for the first time. It generally didn't awaken in the clan members til they were around 16, and had plenty of time after becoming chuunin to work on their chakra control, so that they would be able to control this ability. She hadn't had enough training yet, and as such, the jutsu that shouldn't have done any damage killed the boy instantly. It was such a traumatic experience for her that she gave up being a ninja, and shortly thereafter left the village. Remaining there caused her too much pain.
Being that she was only 14 at the time, and not really able to live on her own, she went off to live with her great aunt and uncle until she was 18. She kept up with her katana training, but abandoned the rest of the skills she'd learned, swearing to never do anything with her chakra again.
At 18, she moved out on her own, being able to find work doing missions for the village she lived in now, one that wasn't so lucky to have ninjas it could count on. But her katana training was good enough for them, and it paid the bills so she stayed.
One day, recently, one of the elders of the village learned that she had originally come from Konoha and that her family was one of the many ninja clans that resided there. He even found out the story of what had happened to cause her to leave the village. He persuaded her to pick up her training where she left off, to benefit the village where she now resided. He understood that she probably wouldn't be able to bring herself back to the Konoha academy, so instead he told her of the GNA, letting her know that he'd heard they had some pretty good senseis and students there, ones who were quite skilled with chakra control. Perhaps they would be able to harness the power of her bloodline.
