to make money with minimal effort

the appeal of gold generators is quite alluring; essentially buying gold and raking in millions, billions, ect without trying too hard. It was a catastrophic effect because this isn't just a one person effect, it affects everyone by driving the value of gold down. Insta rich peeps didn't care and problems continued to swell while Gaia raked in money as people tried to buy more to compensate
