Hello to anyone who happens to stumble across my profile. You are most welcome to call me Leah if you wish. You are also free to call me by any abbreviation of my user name. I happen to be a seventeen year old female who attends high school. I live in a place where you do not wish to follow, mainly because where I live is in my own insane mind. Trust me when I say that my mind is a scary place filled with nonsensical and sensicle (if that even is a word) things.
Some basic knowledge of myself is that I don't act my age at all. I would say that I act as if I'm a young child or something like that. I can be humorous one second and serious the next, so prepare yourself for some randomness if you are a friend of mine or wish to be a friend of mine. Like anyone, I like to have fun as often as I can. I like to think that I'm independent; however, I do rely on others from time to time. I do like to deal with my own issues on my own and in my own way rather than talk them over to someone and be comforted, but I do know my own limits and when I reach them, I seek for a friend. I would say that I'm emotionally strong and can take quite a lot, I'm not sure if the friends who know me would agree, but whatever. I'm no straight A student and I can never be one because I'm not that freakin smart...... and I'm too much of a procrastinator. Also, I'm kind of a freak in my own special way.
Music is my life. I listen to as many genres as I possibly can. Some of my favorite bands are Within Temptation, Bullet for my Valentine, Escape the Fate, Black Veiled Brides, and so much more. I have favorite artists in almost every genre that is thrown at me. If you give me orchestra music, I would say my favorite is the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Ask me which band I like best from the 70s to 80s era, I would say Aerosmith, ACDC, Journey, and Madonna. Ask me which artist I like from the country music genre, I would say Carry Underwood, Keith Urban, and Brad Paisley. As anyone can see, I like, and listen to, a lot of different kinds of music. I'm not picky at all. I also like electronic/techno music. I'm also open to what kinds of music you like and if you know a band I don't know of, I can promise you I will listen to them.
I also like to draw, even if I'm no artist. I personally like the anime/manga style drawings. I draw in that particular style. I practice every once in a while at my drawings in hope that I can open an art shop. I don't seem to be getting any better, but that's probably because I don't practice all the time. I recently took an art class, but that had nothing to do with my particular art style, which is alright because I learned a lot. I also like to watch and read anime and manga. I know a lot, but not nearly enough. I don't really have a favorite anime yet, but so far I have to say either Bleach, Death Note, and Soul Eater. If anyone out there has an anime or manga recommendation, I would like to hear it and I would find the time in my hours of procrastination to watch or read your recommendation.
