My concussion is doing better finally, but it took about 6 months
to not feel constant effect; I wasn't able to rest, so that is likely why.
German and Japanese is painful, not going to lie!
I'm glad your situation is being managed! Always hard when you're in
limbo.

I only get one week off for spring break and am rather burnt out.
Unfortunately, yes. I have been recovering from a concussion.
I thought it was milder than it turned out to be, and didn't go to the
ER until a week afterward, despite the fact that I really should have gone
in right away, as I was too dizzy to even get into bed without struggle;
I stayed awake for 3 hours after hitting it (I fell in the house and hit it
hard against a wall and doorframe), but yeah... injured brains don't work
too well in terms of logic.
When I went in, they were like "stay hydrated, stay away from screens, and
get rest", and I could only do the hydration portion, so I very likely prolonged
my recovery process.
It has been pretty agitating and painful; now I need to double up
on my German and Japanese, because I genuinely don't remember about
half of the term (we got by 10 weeks + finals week, although some classes
shove everything into the 10). I took my Japanese finals today, and it was hell
trying to remember everything and read on the white background.
Got 100% on my oral final, at least whee
Now I just need to finish an extra credit reading comprehension, and then I'm
done for a week.
That is definitely something to look into; I may make an account but not use it too much
until summer, because I have 5 classes right now, and it's kicking me a**.
We have 2 dogs.
That looks like a helpful website; I'll probably look into it more
towards the end of this term or next, as I have so much to do
with this one.
I will be graduating hopefully in 2 years and 4(?) months, so long
as I only go for a BA. I do have the option to go for a higher degree
in German, but I'm going to need to decide if it would be helpful
or not.
Working and studying is bloody hard. I'm glad you were able to
swtich jobs for your finals, though, that surely was a great help!
The weather in Maine was fluctuating to like, 40s or 50s, but next
week we will be down to -12, which is more normal. Going to need
to trim the dogs' nails so that their boots fit without them fighting me.
Need to get them some new socks, too.
and maybe pursue more language after I master these two.
It would be nice, but school starts again soon and I have 5 classes this term;
my school goes by terms as opposed to semesters, so I'll generally have about 12 or more
classes betwen fall and spring.

Yes, but not as often as I used to; so little time these days.
I am hoping to become a translator for both German and Japanese.
I am currently in my second year of German, and first year of Japanese.
I am super busy, sadly, between pt work, ft school, ft caretaking and being
the one who does 97% of all the work around the house, I'm just tired and busy.
How are things for you? And yeah, Gaia is slow these days.
I don't know how I would put "Charlie" into hiragana or katana, really sweatdrop
