It's new, it's blue, it slices, it dices! It's Delita's revised profile, circa 2015!Nice to meetcha! I'm Delita, freelance writer, technology expert- and professional geek. No, seriously, that's on my byline and everything. I haven't been active on Gaia for sometime, but I'm back, baby!
As of 2015, I'm 29, happily married to Iselia Luonte and make my bones as a freelance writer primarily in the employ of Demand Media Studios as part of their Technology and Hobbies & Games sections. It's not a terribly glamorous job, but if you've ever looked up how to do this or that with your computer, phone or game console and looked at an eHow article, there's a chance that was me!
My hobbies include creative writing, roleplaying, some graphic editing, watching anime, TV and movies, making movies, and collecting Transformers, both contemporary and classic. I'm a Transformers geek through and through, and I'm proud of it! I like just any realm of fiction and non-fiction, from historical drama and true crime to fantasy and science fiction. Comedy is also a favorite, and I've made it my mission to make people around me laugh and smile, resulting in my being a complete dumbass for the amusement of others.
I'm mostly on Gaia to roleplay with mai waifu. I don't do a whole lot else, to be honest.
One of my passions in life is telling stories. While my storytelling skills verbally are clumsy at best, I find my true ability to express myself comes from the written word. Many tell me I have a flair with words, and apparently, good writing is in my DNA. My mother is a published poet and my father is a journalist.
Before I left the Great White North, some friends and I started work on a TV show, currently being hosted on YouTube but rarely updated anymore. KYTV is a silly station, running Comedy Sentral News, which parodies many topics from science fiction, real-world news and a myriad of other sources.
