True, but in a limited sense. Fact of the matter is much of our psychological default settings are stuck chasing woolly mammoths on the glacial shelves and that much social conditioning and rational self-determination are required to make us functionally cooperative members of modern society. Evolution is just a very slow process biologically, and so future development of our species must rest in the hands of self-making if it's to make it very much farther (and even then we can make that become self-destructive, too, if we aren't cautious and scrupulous).

As far as that one woman's case goes, she obviously isn't representative of her demographic because a sample of one doesn't lend itself to analysis. Besides, all she is is a misguided and self-seeking opportunist who probably craves love and attention, and the ability to have control, which all can be gratified through children (or so she thinks); if she were infertile or wasn't the sort who wanted children she would have found these outlets elsewhere and still would have gone from man to man both to leech off someone and to feel protected and loved – just a case of healthy desires and instincts misplaced and skewed in proportion, really.

End social welfare or place it in the hands of the church and – I'm oversimplifying, I admit – you'll have on the one extreme more suffering and crime and on the other compulsory conversion (and still more suffering) There does certainly need to be more oversight, but then again nonprofit organizations are also businesses and therefore it's in their self-interests for the door to revolve.

We have a soda fountain here downtown where the guy makes all his syrups from scratch and there's a Purle haze one that starts off tasting of hibiscus and trails off with a star anise aftertaste. Very yummy.

Sours are pretty good. Reminds me of a sort of kind of soda drink i would like to invent one day, and hopefully patent and maybe be able to make money off. Damn, well, i can't tell you what it is though.
