I don't really plan to write in here a lot... It will probably just serve as a place holder for my RP Characters and such.
RolePlay Race Notes
The souls/astral selves of Humans are roughly equivalent to an Archangel, which is why Ghosts and other lingering Human spirits possess their powers. In their physical form, Humans are the most balanced of the races.

Despite being inherently magical in nature, it is exceedingly difficult for Dragons to assume a perfectly Human form: smaller Draconic forms, or slightly Humanoid forms are far more common.

WereWolves are mortal, and they will die from old age. However, they do age far slower than Humans, and can live to be approximately 200 (A WereWolf of this age would appear old, just as a Human would). Time spent by a WereWolf in its bestial form does not count toward their age in Human form.
WereWolves gain slightly elevated strength, agility, hearing, and smell even while in Human form.
While experienced WereWolves can Transform at will, this takes great focus and discipline. Likewise, once in their wolf form, it is very difficult to control.
All WereWolves are forced to transform during the full moon, and the two nights adjacent to it, and have more difficulty controlling themselves in their wolf form during this time.
WereWolves are considerably sturdier than Humans, but weapons not made of silver will still kill them. They are weak against silver.

Vampirism is not a virus, infection, disease or anything of this kind and cannot be cured through any scientific method.
Vampires are undead beings: clinically dead corpses which behave as though they were alive. Because of this, they are all but infertile.
Vampires may reproduce only if the conception occurs at a time when both the male and the female are completely engorged with Blood, or through any of several arcane, demonic rituals. While pregnant, female Vampires are virtually feral, and must feed on at least twice the normal amount of blood which is required for them to live.
Furthermore, Vampires carry their children in the womb for up to a decade, and it is not unheard of for labor and deliveries to result in extensive damage to the Mother.
Certain demonic rituals have been known to ease pregnancy, and/or delivery, but the child is often affected in some way as a result.
As a result, Vampiric "Births" are exceptionally rare.
One may become a Vampire through a pact with a Demon, or similarly dark force. In accordance with folklore, suicides can become Vampires after death as well, and Vampires can also be created when a Demon or similarly dark force inhabits and possesses a dead Human body. Turned Vampires, while initially slightly weaker than the other methods of transformation, can easily become just as strong as the others.
Sunlight will cause the flesh of a Vampire to burn to ash as though it were on fire. Powerful Vampires may walk in daylight without harm, but cannot make use of many of their powers while in sun.
Their skin does not sparkle, twinkle, glow, or shine while in the sun. Sparkle and die.
Vampires have no body heat, and innately possess heightened strength, speed, and vision.
They can sense/smell blood, and must feed on it.
A Vampire can survive for up to a century without feeding on blood, but will be virtually, if not entirely helpless as a result of such deprivation.
Vampires possess an inherent mystical talent, which encompasses necromancy, shapeshifting, black/destructive/harmful magic, hypnosis and other telepathic abilities (Suggestion, mind control, mind reading). These abilities take centuries to hone.
Vampires are weak against wood, fire, silver, garlic (Garlic possesses natural properties which purify the blood), blessed weapons, and religious symbols or icons (Whichever Religion the Human believed in prior to becoming a Vampire will repel them. Ex: A Jewish person who became a Vampire would be warded by any symbol evoking Judaism.). The effects of blessed items and religious icons/symbols is magnified greatly while within a temple/church. For instance, if a Vampire who was a Christian in life were to touch a Crucifix inside a Church or Cathedral, the damage done would be far greater.
Vampires do not sleep, but simply enter a trance-like state during the day to pass the time when they either cannot venture outdoors, or would not be at their peak, as opposed to staying completely alert through the time. Their coffin, bed, or resting place must be lined with at least one pound of their native soil in order to produce this restful trance.
Vampires must be invited into a home by one of its permanent residents/the owner of the property before they may enter. Once they have been invited, they may return at any time. Note that procuring an invitation through heavy mental suggestion is legitimate, and is commonly done by Vampires.
Vampires can manipulate effectively any animal through their innate talent for telepathic abilities. They can also control the weather, but only within their own domain (Property).
